While Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin all serve the same purpose and contain the same active ingredient (botulinum toxin type A), there are slight differences:

  • Botox is the most well-known and widely used. It is highly precise and effective for smaller treatment areas.
  • Dysport spreads more easily over larger areas, making it a great choice for treating larger regions like the forehead.
  • Xeomin is a “naked” form of botulinum toxin, which means it doesn’t contain any additives, potentially reducing the risk of developing resistance.
